The Goose Girl

I have been reading this really amazing book called "The Goose Girl". Its by an amazing author named Shannon Hale. When I first read the title, it didn't really appeal to me, but when my friend, Emma, told me I should read it, I knew I just had to. Cause when Emma reccomends books, you know that they are amazing! Of course, Emma has proved right so far- I started it yesterday and am on page 278! Yeah...
So, if you are stuck with the nothing-looks-good-in-the-book-area blues, check this seris out! Oh, I forgot to mention that this has four books to it; the series is called "The Books of Bayern".
So, go check out your school or local library if you want stories with adventure, suspense, betrayal, and loyalty to a 'special' girl/princess/use-your-imagination-and-guess-whatever-the-heck-she-is! I reccomend these books to everyone! So good!

Poker Face

I found out a couple of days ago that I don't have a good poker face. Go figure. I'm the worst liar unless I lie to my parents. What a talent. Yipee.
I found out how to tell if my friend is lying or not! She gets this over-innocent look in her eyes, and her voice has a tint of sarcasam and over exxageration in it! Its so funny! When I told her that she had that innocent look in her eyes when she tried to convince me that their was a spider in my closet, she denied it. Once again she got that look in her eyes! I laughed to myself all night thinking about it!
We were doing these fake/cheesy commercials for this cd that we got in 4th grade about drug prevention called 'Mind Over Matter'. It was so funny! Raven's name was Dortha, and mine was Linny. I don't know what made us decide on those names....

but eventually we did! We have so much fun together! Then Raven had to go because I had to babysit. Shes on vacation right now, so our fun is postponed until further notice.
To be continued... :)

Boomerangs, Gum, Country Songs, and Milkshakes!

Today is Friday, which, happens to be one of my most favorite days! Today, we made boomerangs in school! We were learning about Australia and we decorated the boomerangs with things that represented Australia. It was pretty fun, and we flew them a lot. One of my friends, Raven, took me out with her wonderful mom, Delana! It was so fun! We went to this great fast-food place were they pair almost everything with scones, like BLTs for instance! It was so yummy! We also had milkshakes, me a brownie, and Raven a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup! On the way there, I got gum stuck on my hair, which really sucks cuz I have long hair! When we rode there and back, we sang along to some of the greatest country songs I've ever heard! We also listened to a tid-bit of rock, and that was fun to! When I got home, Raven and I got huge globs of peanut butter and enjoyed rubbing it into my hair. Well, I did, but Raven kept complaining about how my hair kept sticking to her and falling off, and how the peanut butter was gross... which is odd because she was the one who taught me to buck up about burps and gross things like rotting food! That, was one of the best Fridays of my life!

Earaches and Soccer

What a earache of a day! Seriously! In P.E today, we played soccer. This lovely experience remided me why I didn't try out for the soccer team. I could barely catch my breath, and I think I twisted this girl's ankle in a collision. Yikes! And the WIND! It was like 'woosh!' and I was like 'Ahhh!'. I lent my jacket to a girl with a short sleeved shirt,(I had long sleeves.) and by the time the period was over, I was chilled on every part of my body! My ears ached really bad, and I got splotches on my face, even though I wasn't crying. It was just so cold out there! Then there was the fact that I was wearing high heeled boots, I mean really high heeled stinkers, and I just about twisted my own ankle!
My mom took me out to lunch today, and we had a really good time. We talked about some things I was having trouble with, and I listened very closely to what my mom said. I was glad that we got to spend some quality time with her.
I have some good news though! When I got home from a tough day of school, my mom had chocolate doughnuts for me and my brothers waiting there! I had some cold milk with mine. It was then that I knew that my day was almost complete! Almost there! Got to make it!
I have 4 words of wisdom for you: Chocolate makes everything better!
The faster you learn that, the better off you will be in life!

Quick as a Flash!

Holy Moly! Cheese and Crackers! Finaminal Fillies! Cherry Ricki! I've done it again! Time has escaped from me like there is no next week! I was racking my brain just to come up with the right phrases to describe my heebedie-jeebies! I am in a very word-tastic mood today. Anyway...

The reason that I was even in need for these several heck-of-a-sayings, is beacause summer is almost here! Spring hit me like one of those baseball batters who grand slam the ball out of the park!

Sometimes I just wish that everything could stay the same. That I could just live my life perfect. Of course, that will never happen, but, we can always dream. :)
