Family.

I love my family so much. They are the best people I could have surrounding me. But, I have to admit, when I got back from Girls Camp and started a conversation, I wanted to strangle my siblings for inturrupting!! My mom and dad were also going out the night I got home, so, because of those stupid little hormones of mine, I felt like my mom was only glad to have me back because she could have her babysitter again. I broke down in tears -being the drama queen I am- and, I say this honestly, accidently, and I truely mean accidently, made her feel bad. So, she called my dad up and said they would go out tommorrow (today) and that my dad and I would have a daddy-daughter date. Well, this made me feel bad since they were going out to celebrate his birthday, their anniversery, and father's day. I have such willing and nice parents. And here I am, blogging about it. I think I can be so messed up sometimes...

Girls Camp!!

I am so excited!! Girls Camp is on its way...
it'll be here tomorrow!! We are going to a place called Osage Hills. Its still owned by the Indians- they have mineral rights on it and everything!! If you want to stay there, you have to ask their permission before you even touch the dirt!! Luckily, we already got permission, and paid our fees. Apparently, the Young Women did a fundraiser before I came that paid for my fees too!! So, technically, I got in completely free! I got all my stuff packed, well, except for my toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, basically all my cleanliness stuff.
We get to sleep in cabins and have a swimming pool to swim in! We also have a mess hall {I think thats what its called...}. The cabins and mess hall {again, ?} are air conditioned- which is really nice. I heard the beds are kinda nasty, so I'm bringing a sheet to put over it! Its probably gonna rain a little bit when we're there too, so I have to bring a rain poncho and light weight jacket.
Nate went off to Scout Camp today, at 2 in the morning!! It took them about four hours to get there!! He told me about this one thing he has to do there where he has to survive a whole entire day on his own!! Yikes!! I don't know about you guys, but I probably couldn't survive a day all by myself! I know Nate can do it though... he is much stonger than I am.

To Burn, or Not To Burn?

'To burn, or not to burn? That is the question. When you swim in the pond, you forget to slather your delicate epidermis with the sweet dripping protection of the bottle thereof.'
That, is just a fancy Shakesperian way of saying that I got a sunburn on my shoulders because I forgot to re apply sunscreen every two hours. It hurts, really bad!! Although, I must say its getting better. Now, I have to say that, because it is doing better, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt!!! 'Cause boy does it burn and sting!! I think the sun hates me. Really! It seems like its cursed me with this blistering burn because I'm just, I'm, I'm...
I can't think of the word!!!
So, when you go swimming this summer...
All I'm saying is that the sun will hate you too, so protect your 'delicate epidermis with the sweet dripping protection of the bottle thereof'-if you know what I mean!! :)

Its My Birthday!!!!

I'm so excited!!! Its my birthday today! I am officially 12 years old!!!! :) My parents decorated mine and Nate's doors, I got a KING SIZE Hershey bar! Nate got a HUGE Snickers bar! My mom made homemade cinnimon rolls for breakfast, and I don't have to do any chores today! We are planning to go to redbox and get a movie, watch it, go swimming and bowling, and then having dinner; pot roast, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, and GRAVY!!!!!!!!!!! I really love the homemade gravy she makes!!
Its also Todd's birthday!!! By the way, if your reading this Todd,

So, like I said, its my birthday and I'm loving it!! I still haven't eaten my chocolate bar though...

I am so excited!! The young women leaders are coming over to my house on Friday to give me all my Young Womens things!! Tomorrow is my very special birthday-I can't wait!!!!
The humidity and the heat mixed together is overwhelming at times. I forgot how Huston summers were compared to Utah summers-Huston being humid and Utah being dry. I feel like I want to go swimming constantly, but I can't because the pool doesn't open until June. Thats another reason I'm excited!! In June, I'm going to girls camp-they have cabins and a swimming pool!!!!!!!!
I'm really excited!

Happy Birthday Miss. Brailsford!!

Today, Miss. Brailsford had a birthday!! I wasn't there though. :( But... Raven and I arranged a surprise phone call so that I could talk to her! It wasn't much, but, it still counts, right?!
I know that this is my second post today, but the other one was sad. This one is much happier, isn't it? :)

Tornado Watch.

Today, I woke up to the early morning news, thunder, and lightning. The thunder was so strong that it shook our house. We lost our satillite connection, so there was no more news for us. Instead, we watched a recording of Home Alone Two. There was a tornado watch until 8:15 a.m., and there might be another one in the afternoon! Stupid tornados!! My mom woke up telling us she had a nightmare that the sirens on the electricity poles went off and we all panicked! Really, this weather buisness is starting to freak me out!!
