Its My Birthday!!!!

I'm so excited!!! Its my birthday today! I am officially 12 years old!!!! :) My parents decorated mine and Nate's doors, I got a KING SIZE Hershey bar! Nate got a HUGE Snickers bar! My mom made homemade cinnimon rolls for breakfast, and I don't have to do any chores today! We are planning to go to redbox and get a movie, watch it, go swimming and bowling, and then having dinner; pot roast, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, and GRAVY!!!!!!!!!!! I really love the homemade gravy she makes!!
Its also Todd's birthday!!! By the way, if your reading this Todd,

I am so excited!! The young women leaders are coming over to my house on Friday to give me all my Young Womens things!! Tomorrow is my very special birthday-I can't wait!!!!
The humidity and the heat mixed together is overwhelming at times. I forgot how Huston summers were compared to Utah summers-Huston being humid and Utah being dry. I feel like I want to go swimming constantly, but I can't because the pool doesn't open until June. Thats another reason I'm excited!! In June, I'm going to girls camp-they have cabins and a swimming pool!!!!!!!!
I'm really excited!

Happy Birthday Miss. Brailsford!!

Today, Miss. Brailsford had a birthday!! I wasn't there though. :( But... Raven and I arranged a surprise phone call so that I could talk to her! It wasn't much, but, it still counts, right?!
I know that this is my second post today, but the other one was sad. This one is much happier, isn't it? :)

Tornado Watch.

Today, I woke up to the early morning news, thunder, and lightning. The thunder was so strong that it shook our house. We lost our satillite connection, so there was no more news for us. Instead, we watched a recording of Home Alone Two. There was a tornado watch until 8:15 a.m., and there might be another one in the afternoon! Stupid tornados!! My mom woke up telling us she had a nightmare that the sirens on the electricity poles went off and we all panicked! Really, this weather buisness is starting to freak me out!!

Confession.

Okay, so, I admit, the last post I wrote had "Drama Queen" written all over it. But can I help myself? No, I can't, because drama is in my blood (thanks Mom!!!).
Really, the people here aren't so bad, even though I haven't even met ten of them yet. Hey, we live an learn. I really don't have anything to post, just a confession of my dramatic scene. Really, I feel like an idiot.

On My Own.

I left Eagle Mountain on Friday. That was the hardest day of my life. I cried so much that my eyes ran out of tears. My head still aches, and my positive perspective on things is coming back, but I still can't seem to recover. I have lived there for four years, and I have made so many friends. I tried not to cry. I really did. I tried to be strong, but I couldn't. If I wasn't in the car, I would of dug a hole in the ground and sob until sobs couldn't come to me. And all that time, all that time, I was thinking. I was thinking about all the people who I hurt, and all the people that I had left. My dreams are filled with fermiliar faces, but they quickly turned into nightmares where I can't remember who they are. I'm afraid that I will forget. And I don't want to forget.
I'm on my own right now. The world keeps spinning inside my head, and I can't seem to find myself. Music has helped me a lot right now. It helps me find my corner of the universe where I can think clearly. I talked to my friend, Raven, once, but that call could only last five minutes, (mom's orders). I miss everything that I had there. But I just have to take what the Lord gives me and be grateful for it.
Who knows? Maybe I will have a great experience in the Okies? That little thought has seemed to cheer me up in the past couple of days.
I miss you guys!!! I promise that I won't forget. Please, don't forget me.

Dork.

Before you read this, you have to know that I'm a bigtime dork!!
To prove my dorkness, I will give you examples...

1) First of all, I played spys today with my trusty parter-Agent Raven!! We had to hide from our evil boss and his colleauge-Stacy!! They were trying to steal our rubies!!
2) I growl at Raven. I am not kidding. This right here is a no kid/joke zone. I really do growl at her when I'm angry. Although-she hisses back!!
& 3) I will admit, I say very stupid and not-making-sense-here!!-jokes. Really! People will just say 'what?' or 'huh?'. I really need a new joke book! :)

Anyways...

I really am a major dork, but I can admit it, so, I'm not a hypocrite! I tell people that they are dorks sometimes, but I do openly admit my dorkness, so you can't tell me I don't!!

Shopping.

Today, my mom took me shopping for my 12th birthday dress for young womens-yes, I am lds! I ended up getting a lot more! I got a really long one-it goes down past my ankles-that had spingish colors splashed on flowers. I also got a simple, blue, knee-lenght dress. They're really pretty. At the same store, we found $3.00 American Eagle Jeans. The origanal price was $47! We bought those as school pants for next year. We bought two more pairs-each about $12. Then we went to Paridise Bakery & Cafe`. We split a chicken w/walnuts sandwich and a cream cheese brownie. After that, we went to Old Navy to get shorts for me. All they had were itty-bitty denim bootie shorts, so we went to Ross. We found two pairs of nice, modest shorts there.
I really enjoyed spending time with my mom. Its fun to talk with her and be around her-especially when its just her and I! :)

No-Bake-Cookies!

Today, Sunday, my mom made no-bake-cookies as a family treat! Best things ever!

Here's the recipe;

Ingredients
•2 cups sugar
•4 tbs cocoa
•dash of salt
•1/2 cup butter
•1/2 cup milk
•1/2 cup peanut buter
•3 cups quick cooking oats
•1 tsp vanilla

Directions
1.Combine ingredients.
2.Bring to boil and cook for 90 seconds.
3.Remove from heat
4.Stir in 1/2 cup peanut butter, disolve
5.Add 3 cups quick cooking oats
6.Add 1 tsp vanilla
7.Mix well.
8.Drop by teasponfulls onton cookie sheet. Cool for 30 minutes or until set
9.NOTE: Some recipes omit the cocoa

Makeup, My day, and Oklahoma.

Since we celebrated my 12th birthday-a month early-my mom is letting me wear makeup, finally! I can wear mascara, blush, foundation, neutral eyeshadow, and darker lip colors. I know for a lot of you, that isn't so cool, but hey-its my life and my feelings!:)
I've been in a really cheerful mood lately! This morning, I painted my fingernails pink and my toenails orange with one of my birthday presents (thanks Cicily!) Then I went to IKEA with my family for bunk beds for the boys. When we move to Oklahoma they'll need a better bed to sleep in! Speaking of, I can't believe we'll be moving in less than a week! I'm so sad! Saying goodbye to all of my friends will be the hardest thing to do!
